9 paintings tell the story of the Firebird.This is Scene 4. "The Free dance". Also known as "Scherzo (Dance of the Princesses)". This is a light-hearted dance of 13 Princesses.
The Firebird is a ballet and orchestral concert work by the Russian composer Igor Stravinsky.
These images were painted while listening to the music, incorporating the energy and emotion felt from the music and putting that into imagery on the canvas.
