9 paintings tell the story of the Firebird.This is Scene 3. "The entanglement" of the Prince and The Firebird.
also known as "Pas de dux (Firebird and Prince Ivan)". This scene is when Prince Ivan and the Firebird first intertwine. Prince Ivan is left with a feather from the firebird to use its magical powers when needed.
The Firebird is a ballet and orchestral concert work by the Russian composer Igor Stravinsky.
These images were painted while listening to the music, incorporating the energy and emotion felt from the music and putting that into imagery on the canvas.
